Mark Logic Granted Patent on Key Technology in MarkLogic Server

SAN MATEO, CA – June 18, 2007 – Mark Logic (R) Corporation, provider of the industry’s leading XML content server, today announced that it has been awarded a patent on core technology in MarkLogic Server.

The patent, entitled “Parent-Child Query Indexing for XML Databases,” protects key algorithms enabling Mark Logic’s revolutionary approach to indexing and high-performance query evaluation against general XML documents.
