Telstra and 2Wire Take the Work Out of Home Networking

Telstra residential customers can now create personalized private home wireless networks, with mobility and freedom for multiple Internet users, anywhere in the house.

San Jose, CA - December 5, 2007 - Telstra, Australia’s leading telecommunications and information services company, has partnered with 2Wire, a provider of broadband service delivery platforms, to make two versions of 2Wire gateways available to Telstra customers: a single-port ADSL gateway (the 2Wire HomePortal 2071), and a four-port ADSL Wi-Fi gateway (the 2Wire HomePortal 2701HGV), both of which provide connectivity for both PC and Mac computers. Using the 2Wire Wi-Fi gateway, multiple users can wirelessly connect to a single Internet connection.
